Southern Hills offers a full range of medical imaging services and some of the most sophisticated diagnostic technology available in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Medical Imaging Services at Southern Hills Medical Center are devoted to meeting your healthcare needs in the most comfortable, convenient environment possible.  We have board certified radiologists on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  All radiologists are board certified by the American College of Radiology. Along with the radiologists, our technologists and sonographers offer the quality care and compassion you’ve come to expect from Southern Hills Medical Center.

Interventional Radiology

At Southern Hills Medical Center, our Interventional Radiologists utilize many minimally invasive, targeted treatments as alternatives to traditional surgical procedures.  Used to treat a wide variety of medical conditions, these procedures are performed with local anesthesia and intravenous sedations and are guided by radiological imaging techniques such as x-rays, MRI, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and CT (computerized tomography).

Advantages of Interventional Radiology:

• Most procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis or require only a short hospital stay
• General anesthesia usually is not required.
• Risk, pain and recovery time are often significantly reduced

Our imaging staff provides diagnostic/fluoroscopic radiology, ultrasound, computerized tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and nuclear medicine, in addition to interventional special procedures and other specialized services.

The Outpatient & Women’s Imaging Center at Southern Hills East offers privacy, comfortable surroundings and convenient location.  Services offered include:
